- 4 chicken breasts – equal in size
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp dried thyme – or italian seasoning
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of dried thyme, 2 teaspoons of onion powder, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and ½ teaspoon of paprika.
- Dry the chicken breasts with paper towels to help the spice rub adhere better. Brush the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375℉ for 5 minutes. Place the chicken in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes. Flip them over and cook for another 10 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165℉ as measured by a meat thermometer.
- Allow the chicken to rest on a cutting board or plate before slicing, enabling the juices to remain inside, which keeps the chicken tender and juicy. Slice and serve.
