- 2–3 Tbsps pure maple syrup

- 1–2 tsps apple pie spice
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 organic apple, sliced
- 2 Tbsps unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup organic brown sugar
- 1 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Toasted walnuts or pecans
- Sprinkle of apple pie spice
- Crumble topping
- Granola
Instructions
- Combine rolled oats and almond milk in a saucepan, bring to boil, then simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice; simmer again for 1-2 minutes.
- Melt unsalted butter in a skillet, mix in brown sugar, apple pie spice, and sliced apples; sauté until tender and caramelized.
- Serve oatmeal in bowls and top with sautéed apples, nuts, and optional toppings.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness level of the porridge by varying the amount of maple syrup or sweetened condensed milk.
For a creamier texture, add more almond milk when reheating leftovers.
