Description

This Baked Brie and Preserves combines rich Brie cheese with sweet preserves and crunchy nuts, creating an irresistible appetizer. Perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 ounces)
  • ⅓ cup good-quality fruit preserves or jam
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup, optional)
  • 1 small sprig fresh herbs (optional)
  • Sliced baguette, crostini, crackers, or fruit slices

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove the Brie from its packaging and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Score the rind of the Brie with shallow cuts to allow for flavor infusion.
  • Spoon the fruit preserves evenly over the top of the Brie.
  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the preserves.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is soft and starting to ooze.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes, then drizzle with honey or maple syrup and garnish as desired.
  • Serve warm with sliced baguette, crackers, or fruit.

Notes

Use cold Brie to help it hold its shape while baking.
Try different types of fruit preserves for unique flavors.
Honey or maple syrup is optional, adjust based on your sweetness preference.
