Description

Enjoy the irresistible flavor of Brown Butter Cadbury Mini Egg Cookies. Simple to prepare with rich ingredients, these cookies are perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings or sharing with friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped cadbury mini eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the butter is golden brown with a nutty aroma. Allow it to cool to room temperature in a separate bowl.
  3. Whisk the brown sugar and granulated sugar into the cooled brown butter until combined. Then add in the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped Cadbury mini eggs.
  6. Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets using a large cookie scoop or spoon.
  7. Bake for 13 minutes, or until the edges are set while the centers remain slightly soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Ensure the butter is cooled before mixing with sugar to achieve the best texture.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to five days for optimal freshness.
Variation: Substitute different chocolates or candies based on preference.
