- 4 cups mini pretzels
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup Heath toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour mini pretzels into a mixing bowl and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract and baking soda.
- Pour the toffee mixture over pretzels and toss to coat evenly. Add half of the Heath toffee bits and mix again.
- Spread coated pretzels onto the baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle remaining Heath toffee bits over pretzels while hot.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into bite-sized clusters.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
For gluten-free options, use gluten-free pretzels instead of regular ones.
Can be made ahead and stored for later enjoyment.
