Description

This Buttery Herb Croissant Stuffing features a delightful blend of buttery croissants, sautéed garlic, onions, and fresh herbs, bringing warmth and irresistible flavor to your holiday table.


Ingredients

  • 12 cups chopped butter croissants
  • 3/4 cup salted butter + 2 tablespoons
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons On Everything All-Purpose Blend
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt, optional
  • 2 large organic eggs, whisked
  • 1 cup chicken stock, organic

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  • Chop butter croissants into medium bite-sized pieces.
  • Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic and onions until translucent, then add celery and seasonings; cook for a few more minutes.
  • Combine croissants, sautéed veggies, eggs, and chicken stock in a large bowl.
  • Transfer mixture to the baking dish, tuck in butter cubes, cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, removing foil halfway through.
  • Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Day-old croissants add delightful texture and work well for this recipe.
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free croissants or rolls.
Consider adding cooked sausage or mushrooms for extra savory flavor.
