  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1.5 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or avocado)

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into 1.5-inch pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are completely coated. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer within the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the chicken for 12–14 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  • Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving alongside chutney or rice.
