Description

Chilli Garlic Butter Roasted Cabbage Wedges are a flavorful side dish packed with garlic and chili goodness, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings with friends. Simple to prepare, they combine buttery richness with spicy warmth for a delightful experience.

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili crisp or dried chili flakes
  • 1 Sweetheart cabbage, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Chopped hazelnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the sweetheart cabbage into quarters, leaving wedges intact.
  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter; whisk with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and chili crisp.
  • Brush the buttery mixture onto each cabbage wedge thoroughly.
  • Place the wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for about 20-35 minutes.
  • In a pan over medium heat, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and toast the panko breadcrumbs until golden brown.
  • Once roasted, sprinkle crispy garlic crumbs, chopped hazelnuts, and parsley over the cabbage before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
