Description

These Christmas Sugar Cookies are a delightful treat with soft, buttery textures and festive sprinkles, perfect for holiday gatherings or gifting.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 cup Christmas Sprinkles
  • 2 cups Unsalted Butter
  • 1 1/4 cups White Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 TBSP Heavy Cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and Christmas sprinkles in a bowl.
  • Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
  • Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  • Let dough rest for 10 minutes; scoop onto cookie sheets and chill for 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden; let cool for 5 minutes before transferring wire rack.
  • Sift powdered sugar and beat with butter to make frosting; add vanilla, salt, and cream until airy.
  • Frost cookies and decorate with additional sprinkles.
