Description

These soft and chewy Cookies and Cream Cookies combine nostalgia with creamy treats, featuring Oreos and white chocolate chips for a delightful bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • 8 Oreos, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, and mix well.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently to combine. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped Oreos.
  • Scoop dough onto the prepared cookie sheet, space apart, and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough is important for preventing spreading and maintaining chewiness.
Don’t overmix the ingredients; this keeps the cookies tender.
Adjust baking time based on your oven for best results.
