Description

These Cream of Mushroom Pork Chops combine savory pork with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce. Perfect for quick dinners, they are flavorful and easy to make, bringing warmth to your table.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 8 oz brown mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook pork chops until golden brown on both sides.
  • Sauté diced onion and sliced mushrooms in the same skillet until softened.
  • Add garlic and cook briefly before adding cream of mushroom soup and beef broth.
  • Simmer the sauce then return pork chops to the skillet, cooking until done.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
