Description

This Crockpot Shrimp Boil combines juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, tender potatoes, and sweet corn for a flavorful dish that’s perfect for gatherings and easy weeknight meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb red skinned potatoes
  • 2 ropes andouille sausage
  • 34 sweet corn on the cob
  • 1 onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 12 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Creole/Cajun seasoning
  • 2 lbs raw jumbo shrimp
  • 1 lemon
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Layer the red skinned potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the sliced andouille sausage, cut corn, sliced onion, and minced garlic on top.
  • Pour in chicken broth and enough water to submerge the ingredients; stir in Old Bay and Cajun seasoning.
  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours until potatoes are fork-tender.
  • In the last 30-60 minutes, stir in thawed raw shrimp.
  • Just before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Notes

Cut potatoes evenly to ensure uniform cooking time.
Adjust seasoning based on your taste preference.
