Ingredients

- 1 cup Milk
- 2 1/4 tsp Active dry yeast
- 1 tsp White granulated sugar
- 1 Large egg
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 TBSP White granulated sugar
- 5 TBSP Unsalted butter
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 TBSP Unsalted butter
- 1 TBSP Honey
Instructions
- Warm the milk to 110℉ and add yeast and sugar; let it foam for 10 minutes.
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the yeast mixture, egg, and butter; mix on low, then knead for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Shape into rolls, let them rise again in a pan for about an hour.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350℉ for 20-25 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter and honey before serving.
Notes
Ensure yeast is fresh for best results.
Room temperature ingredients yield better dough texture.
Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated.
