- 14 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 0.55 pound honey ham slices
- 0.3 pound provolone cheese slices
- 1.1 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1.1 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 0.55 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Slice the rolls horizontally into two equal halves.
- Invert the rolls so that the crusty sides are facing in.
- Lay the honey ham slices on the bottom half.
- Place provolone cheese slices on top of the ham.
- Sprinkle seasoned salt and dried minced onion over the cheese.
- Align the top half of the rolls and press down gently.
- Spread mayonnaise on the exposed top side of the sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet with mayonnaise side down.
- Add more mayonnaise on the top side while cooking.
- Flip the sandwich when the bottom is golden brown.
- Cover the skillet to melt the cheese; cook until the other side is golden.
- Cut the sandwich into portions and serve warm.
