- 1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 2 ounces tequila
- 2 ounces pomegranate juice

Instructions
- Rim the glass with sugar, using lime juice to moisten.
- Fill a shaker with ice and add lime juice, Cointreau, simple syrup, tequila, and pomegranate juice.
- Shake for 15 seconds until chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass garnished with a lime wheel.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, replace tequila and Cointreau with more pomegranate juice.
You can prepare the juice mixture ahead of time and store it for up to 48 hours.
