Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Oreo Crust
  • 1 1/3 cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 8 oz Baking Chocolate
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 10 tbsp Butter, Softened
  • 1 1/3 cup Heavy Cream
  • 4 tsp Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • Whisk together sugar and eggs in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened and reaches 160°F.
  • Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Allow to cool.
  • Beat softened butter in a bowl until light and fluffy, then gradually combine with the cooled chocolate mixture.
  • Whip heavy cream until thickened, add powdered sugar, and then fold into the chocolate filling.
  • Transfer filling into the prepared Oreo crust and smooth the top. Chill for about 1 hour.
  • For the topping, beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until thick. Spread over the pie after it sets.

Notes

Ensure eggs are fresh and at room temperature for better blending.
Watch the cream closely while whipping to avoid over-whipping.
Chill thoroughly for best texture; don’t skip this step.
