Description

This Honey Dijon Salmon provides a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. It’s quick to prepare and ideal for both busy weeknights and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lemons (1 sliced and 1 juiced)
  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice one lemon into thin rounds and layer them on the baking sheet.
  • Place salmon fillet on top of lemon slices and pat dry.
  • Season salmon with paprika, kosher salt, and pepper.
  • Bake salmon for 12 minutes.
  • Whisk together lemon juice, melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, and parsley for glaze.
  • Brush salmon with the honey Dijon glaze and bake for an additional 5-6 minutes until flakes easily.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the salmon; use a meat thermometer for best results.
Let the salmon sit for a minute after baking to firm up before serving.
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for an hour before cooking.
