Description

Experience the rich flavors of lobster tail in irresistible garlic butter. This simple recipe combines juicy lobster with buttery garlic goodness, making it a delightful choice for a quick dinner or special occasion. Enjoy a restaurant-quality meal at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for color
  • 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
  • 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish

Instructions

  • Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Pry the meat upward while keeping it attached at the base, resting it atop the split shell. Pat the meat dry with paper towels.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once foamy, whisk in the garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning the butter over the tops as they cook.
  • Flip the lobster tails and cook shell-side down for another 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm yet springs back when touched.
  • Squeeze lemon wedges over the lobster tails directly in the pan.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.

Notes

Ensure the lobster tails are properly thawed before preparation.
For extra flavor, let the butter brown slightly before adding the seasonings.
