Description

These Easter M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies are a delightful treat, featuring a chewy texture and a combination of chocolate and colorful M&M’s, making them perfect for any occasion. Simple to prepare, these cookies will bring joy to family and friends!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 1 cup easter m&m's

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Slowly incorporate the flour mixture until well combined.
  6. Gently fold in the mini-chocolate chips and M&M's.
  7. Scoop 1 1/2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow for spreading.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. After removing from the oven, press additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's into the tops of the cookies.

Notes

For softer cookies, do not overbake them.
You can substitute regular chocolate chips for a different flavor profile.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
