- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 3/4 cups butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla
- 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
- 1 cup easter m&m's
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until thoroughly mixed.
- Slowly incorporate the flour mixture until well combined.
- Gently fold in the mini-chocolate chips and M&M's.
- Scoop 1 1/2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow for spreading.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
- After removing from the oven, press additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's into the tops of the cookies.
Notes
For softer cookies, do not overbake them.
You can substitute regular chocolate chips for a different flavor profile.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
