Description

Enjoy Maple Glazed Salmon Bites, a quick, flavorful dish that combines tender salmon with a sweet and savory maple glaze, making it perfect for weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup water
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish
  • Cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • Add salmon cubes and toss gently to coat in the seasoning mixture.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt a tablespoon of butter.
  • Sear the seasoned salmon cubes for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  • Lower heat, add remaining butter, maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, white wine vinegar, and red pepper flakes; simmer to thicken for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Gently toss seared salmon in the glaze for 2-3 minutes until coated and cooked through.
  • Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with green onions, and serve over cooked rice.

Notes

For best flavor, ensure the salmon is fresh and of high quality.
You can substitute with firm white fish like halibut or cod if salmon is unavailable.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
