Description

These mini pizzas are bursting with flavor and fun! With a crispy crust, fresh mozzarella, and delicious toppings, they’re perfect for any occasion, from snacks to gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon Instant or active dry yeast
  • ½ cup + 1 tbsp lukewarm water
  • ½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ or 1 tablespoon flour or semolina flour
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 5 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  • Combine flour, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  • Add lukewarm water and olive oil; mix until combined.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about a minute.
  • Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 30 minutes.
  • Roll out dough to about 0.12 inches thick and cut out circles.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  • Assemble mini pizzas with sauce, cheese, oregano, and basil on dough rounds.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Cool briefly, drizzle with olive oil, garnish with basil, and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
Freezing mini pizzas is easy; they’ll keep well for up to 3 months.
Experiment with different cheeses and toppings to customize flavors.
