Description

These Monster Cookies are big, chewy treats filled with peanut butter, oats, and colorful M&Ms, making them perfect for a cozy snack or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¾ cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 Large Eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ¼ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 ¼ cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips for topping
  • 1 cup Mini M&Ms
  • ½ cup Mini M&Ms for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in peanut butter and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms gently.
  • Scoop about three tablespoons of dough for each cookie and place on baking sheets.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  • Press in extra chocolate chips and M&Ms, cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better blending.
Don’t overmix the dough to maintain chewy texture.
Chill the dough if it’s too soft to hold shape.
