- 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ¾ cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 Large Eggs, room temperature
- 1 ¼ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 ¼ cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- ½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips for topping
- 1 cup Mini M&Ms
- ½ cup Mini M&Ms for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in peanut butter and vanilla extract.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms gently.
- Scoop about three tablespoons of dough for each cookie and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Press in extra chocolate chips and M&Ms, cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better blending.
Don’t overmix the dough to maintain chewy texture.
Chill the dough if it’s too soft to hold shape.
