Description

These Oreo Stuffed Cookies are a delightful treat, combining the soft texture of buttery cookies with crunchy, chocolatey Oreos. Easy to make, they’ll satisfy your sweet tooth and impress guests at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos (plus additional for stuffing)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup chopped baking chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar; whisk until smooth.
  • Add vanilla extract and egg to the mixture, stirring gently.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mix until combined.
  • Incorporate chopped baking chocolate and ¾ cup crushed Oreos into the dough.
  • Take about 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten it, place an Oreo in the center, and seal it with more dough.
  • Roll the cookie in remaining crushed Oreos and place on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  • Let the cookies cool briefly on the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, refrigerate for a week or freeze for 3 months.
Reheat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to regain gooey texture.
