- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Cube the sourdough bread and distribute evenly in the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring even coverage; cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Create the topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; cut in cold butter until crumbly and refrigerate.
- The next morning, sprinkle the topping over the soaked bread and bake for 45 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
Notes
For a lighter topping, substitute half the flour with oats.
Ensure bread pieces are uniform in size for even soaking.
