- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to the brownie mix instructions and prepare a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare brownie batter per the box instructions; pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes until edges are set and middle is slightly soft.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and sea salt. Fold in pecans.
- Pour the pecan mixture over brownies and spread evenly.
- Lower oven temperature to 325°F and bake for an additional 30–35 minutes until topping is golden and set.
- Cool at room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours before slicing.
