Description

These Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful mix of buttery marshmallow and crispy cereal, making them a nostalgic and irresistible snack perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 20 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 9 cups crispy rice cereal

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
  • Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat until fully melted without browning.
  • Add mini marshmallows to the pot and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  • Fold in crispy rice cereal until well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan using a lightly greased spatula.
  • Allow the treats to set at room temperature for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.
