Description

This Shrimp and Crab Dip combines creamy cheeses with tender seafood for a rich flavor experience. Perfect for parties, game days, or cozy nights with friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb extra small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 ounces canned lump crab meat
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a baking dish.
  • Chop shrimp into small pieces and pat dry along with crab.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, red bell pepper, green onion, Cajun seasoning, and lemon zest until smooth.
  • Gently fold in shrimp and lump crab meat.
  • Transfer mixture to baking dish, top with Colby Jack cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh crab meat if available for better flavor.
Ensure all seafood is thoroughly dried to avoid a watery dip.
For a lighter version, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt.
