Description

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup pickle relish
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  • Whisk together mayonnaise, pickle relish, ketchup, Dijon mustard, sugar, white vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl to make the sauce.
  • Divide lean ground beef into four equal portions.
  • Lay tortillas flat and evenly spread ground beef over each tortilla, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat with a little oil.
  • Cook the taco meat-side down for 2-3 minutes, pressing gently to form a crust.
  • Flip the taco, add a slice of cheese, and cook until cheese melts and tortilla is crispy, 1-3 minutes.
  • Remove tacos and repeat the process for the remaining tortillas until done.
  • Top with sauce, shredded lettuce, diced onions, and pickle slices before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for a few hours at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
