Description

Enjoy the unbeatable combination of flavors in these Smash Burger Tacos, made with juicy ground beef, melty cheese, and a tangy sauce—all wrapped in a warm tortilla. Perfect for quick dinners or gatherings, this recipe is both easy and satisfyingly delicious!

Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise
  • Pickle Relish
  • Ketchup
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Sugar
  • White Vinegar
  • Paprika
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Lean Ground Beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Neutral Oil
  • American Cheese
  • Onion
  • Dill Pickle Chips
  • Shredded Iceberg Lettuce

Instructions

  • Whisk together mayonnaise, pickle relish, ketchup, Dijon mustard, sugar, white vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl to make the sauce.
  • Divide lean ground beef into four equal portions.
  • Lay tortillas flat and evenly spread ground beef over each tortilla, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat with a little oil.
  • Cook the taco meat-side down for 2-3 minutes, pressing gently to form a crust.
  • Flip the taco, add a slice of cheese, and cook until cheese melts and tortilla is crispy, 1-3 minutes.
  • Remove tacos and repeat the process for the remaining tortillas until done.
  • Top with sauce, shredded lettuce, diced onions, and pickle slices before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for a few hours at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Reheat on a skillet to maintain crispiness before serving.
Consider using plant-based meat for a vegetarian option.
