Ingredients

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • fresh parsley, for garnish
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes in a bowl and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, combine chicken broth and heavy cream over medium-high heat until it boils.
  • Add uncooked spaghetti to the broth mixture and stir to coat.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Make a cornstarch slurry with water and add it to the skillet.
  • Stir in the honey garlic sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Remove from heat, add Parmesan cheese, and garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes.

Notes

Stir the pasta occasionally while cooking to prevent clumping.
Add a splash of broth when reheating leftovers to maintain creaminess.
