- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup cream cheese chips
- 20 ounces Ghirardelli vanilla melting wafers
- 1/2 cup Wilton pink candy melts
- 1/2 cup Wilton bright pink candy melts
- 1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the cake mix on the baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
- Let the cake mix cool completely on a wire rack.
- Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Mix in the cooled cake mix and combine until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chopped cream cheese chips.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Form the dough into balls and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Melt vanilla melting wafers until smooth, dip truffles, and place on lined baking sheet.
- Decorate with sprinkles and drizzle melted pink candy melts on truffles.
- Allow the truffles to set at room temperature before serving.
