These Tasty Loaded Tater Tot Appetizers feature mouthwatering flavors with crispy tater tots, melted cheddar, and savory toppings, perfect for parties or snack time.

- 48–60 frozen tater tots (16-oz bag)
- ¾ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 green onions, sliced (green part only)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450ºF and prepare the muffin pan by spraying the cups with cooking spray.
- For mini muffin pans, place 2-3 tater tots in each cup. For regular size pans, use 4-5 tots per cup.
- Bake the muffin pan on the bottom rack for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven.
- Spray the bottom of a shot glass or small juice glass with cooking spray. Press the glass down into each cup to form a potato cup, twisting it to create an opening.
- Return the muffin pan to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the potato cups are deep golden brown.
- Top each potato cup with 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese and bake for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish the appetizer cups with sour cream, bacon, and green onions. Serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to customize toppings with other favorites like jalapeños or diced tomatoes.
For a vegetarian version, skip the bacon and add extra veggies!
