Description

This Teriyaki Chicken is a quick, delicious meal that combines tender chicken with a sweet-savory sauce, perfect for family dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb. chicken breast (diced)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 ½ tsp cornstarch
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray and heat over medium heat.
  • Season diced chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet in a single layer.
  • Sauté chicken for 6-7 minutes until cooked through and golden.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, ginger, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Pour sauce into the skillet, stirring until it thickens (2-3 minutes).
  • Serve over rice and garnish with green onions.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cut into even-sized pieces for uniform cooking.
Use fresh ginger and garlic for vibrant flavor.
If sauce isn’t thickening, whisk in more cornstarch mixed with water.
