Description

This Valentine Irresistible Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie features a creamy filling of peanut butter and rich chocolate topped with glossy fudge. Its easy preparation and delightful flavors make it a must for any celebration or treat for yourself.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 gluten-free Oreos
  • 5 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (Jif Naturals recommended)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 12 oz frozen whipped topping (thawed and divided)
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter (cut into pats)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Reserved whipped topping
  • 2 heaping tablespoons peanuts (chopped)

Instructions

  • Prepare the pie crust by blending Oreos into fine crumbs, mixing with melted butter, and pressing into a pie pan. Freeze for 20-30 minutes.
  • Mix peanut butter filling by combining peanut butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and fill pie crust, then freeze.
  • Make the hot fudge sauce by heating chocolate chips, cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until combined. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Pour hot fudge over the peanut butter layer, cover, and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  • Top with reserved whipped topping and chopped peanuts before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure all creamy ingredients are at room temperature for smooth blending.
This pie can be made a day in advance for optimal flavor as it sets in the fridge.
