Description

This Green Goddess Veggie Pizza combines fresh mozzarella, zesty pesto, and delightful Granny Smith apples for a quick and delicious meal. Ingredients

  • 2 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp organic raw honey
  • 1 tbsp rapid-rise yeast
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, sliced
  • 1 cup asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup green goddess dressing

Instructions

  • Activate the yeast by combining warm water, honey, and yeast in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Mix in flour and Italian seasoning gradually, adjusting for stickiness with more flour as needed.
  • Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until elastic, either using a mixer or by hand.
  • Shape the dough into a circle and transfer it to a greased pizza pan, pinching the edges for the crust.
  • Preheat the oven to 500°F to achieve a crispy bottom.
  • Spread pesto sauce evenly on the crust as a base.
  • Layer with chopped kale, mozzarella, roasted asparagus, and sliced apples in a colorful arrangement.
  • Brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning before baking.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
