Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and almond extract, mixing well.
  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients, stopping when just combined.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Roll dough into balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until bottoms are lightly golden.
  • Cool on wire rack and prepare the glaze.
  • Dip cooled cookies in glaze and add sprinkles.
