Description

This easy recipe combines the earthy flavors of Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes, enhanced with smoky paprika and maple syrup for a savory, sweet dish. It’s perfect for gatherings or a weeknight meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts, halved
  • 1 lb Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Halve Brussels sprouts, and cube sweet potatoes.
  • Mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes, tossing to coat.
  • Heat a baking dish with remaining olive oil in the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Spread the seasoned veggies in the hot dish and roast for 15 minutes.
  • Drizzle maple syrup over the veggies, toss to coat, and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes until caramelized.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan for even roasting.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
