  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 5 cups 100% cranberry juice
  • 2 (24-oz) cans frozen lemonade
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • ¼ lemon or orange, optional (for glass rims)
  • Colored sugar, optional (for glass rims)
  • 6 liters Cherry 7Up (about three 2-liter bottles)
  • Fresh cranberries (for garnishing)
  • Orange slices (for garnishing)

Instructions

  • Combine water and sugar in a pot and simmer until sugar dissolves.
  • Mix in cranberry juice, frozen lemonade, and orange juice in a bowl.
  • Pour mixture into shallow dishes and freeze for at least three hours.
  • Prepare the glasses by rubbing with citrus and dipping in colored sugar.
  • Fluff slush with a fork and fill glasses halfway with slush.
  • Pour Cherry 7Up over slush and garnish with cranberries and orange slices.

Notes

Consider using sparkling water instead of plain water for added fizz.
